MCCOMB, Miss. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Two people have been sentenced in Pike County for their roles in the 2011 shooting death of Derrick "Twin" Witherspoon.

Alreco Hill of Magnolia, and Barbara McKnight of McComb were sentenced Monday by Circuit Judge David Strong for accessory after the fact to murder. Strong sentenced each to five years in prison with four years suspended and one year of house arrest.

James Douglas McKnight of McComb was convicted last week of murder. He faces sentencing on Friday.

Prosecutors say Witherspoon died after being shot four times as he ran from James McKnight's vehicle. They say McKnight was looking for his son and he thought Witherspoon knew his whereabouts.

Prosecutors say Barbara McKnight was driving the vehicle carrying her husband James, Hill and Witherspoon.
