UPDATE: Police release mug shot of Jason Peters

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Ouachita Parish Sheriff Officials have released to KNOE 8 News Jason Peters' mug shot. 

Peters was arrested on Wednesday morning after a high speed chase.

UPDATE:

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News/KSLA) - Peters has also been in trouble with Shreveport police that dates back to March 2011. Peters was arrested outside of Kokopellis nightclub just after midnight.

Officers asked him to turn his music down, but he refused. We're told he also refused to show his license and registration.

Peters was charged with a loud music violation and resisting an officer. He was booked into Shreveport City Jail and released.

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peters was arrested in Monroe early Wednesday morning.

Police officials say they tried to pull Peters over after they believed he was drag racing his Camaro on Highway 165 and Center Street.

But he didn't stop, and instead drove toward Pecanland Mall on Interstate 20.

Eventually he was pulled over near the Petco store in Monroe.

Peters was transported to Ouachita Correctional Center, and booked on charges of drag racing and resisting by flight.

Ouachita Parish Police officials say that they believe he has posted bond.
