"Manic Monday" Leg Workout for June 3rd

LEG WORKOUT:

Squats:

  • Stand up straight and tall, make sure your feet are shoulder-width apart, weight centered in your heels.
  • Move downward, like you're sitting, keep chest out and proud
  • Try to watch form and make sure that your knees do not go past your toes

 

Walking Lunges:

  • Step out so that legs are 90 degrees on each side (we've done this in a normal lunge in past segments)
  • Make sure your knee in the back stays OFF the floor
  • Step forward with the leg in the back.  The opposite leg that was in the front should bent the opposite way in the back now
  • Make a perimeter around a room or area and repeat

 

75-method Calf raises:

  • Point feet/toes outward, raise on to your tiptoes.  25 times.
  • Point feet/toes forward, raise on to your tiptoes.  25 times.
  • Point feet/toes inward (like a penguin), raise on to your tiptoes.  25 times.
