ULM Police search for Bon Aire Drive burglary suspect

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - University of Louisiana at Monroe Police are searching for a suspect in a residential burglary in the 4100 block of Bon Aire Drive.

University Police report that around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, May 25, an unknown black male entered one of the Bayou Village Apartments by breaking an exterior window to the residence.

Police say no one was at the apartment at the time the suspect entered, but the student did return home to find the man still inside. The suspect fled on foot and is at large. No items of value were taken during the burglary, and no one was injured.

The black male, is described as 6 feet tall and was wearing a black shirt and baggy blue jeans. The suspect was seen on several surveillance photos. If you know or have any information on this suspect, please contact University Police at 318-342-5350.
