Police searching for theft suspect in Union Parish

FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE 8 News) -Union Parish deputies are searching for a women suspected of theft.

Glenda Faye "Ronda" Jackson is wanted by Union Parish authorities on 13 outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants held by the Farmerville Police. According to police, the warrants are in reference to multiple thefts committed by Jackson at Wal-Mart in Farmerville.

Jackson was last seen at Wal-Mart in Farmerville on Friday, when she was being pursued by store personnel after she committed a theft. Jackson is also wanted on charges concerning the abandonment of two children that she left at the store during her escape. The children are now in the custody of the Farmerville Police Department. 

Jackson is from Richland Parish and is also suspected of being part of a theft ring operating in that area. Crime Stoppers of Union Parish will pay up to $1000.00 for any information that leads to a felony arrest or grand jury indictment.
