Arkansas health officials concerned about oil safety

MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KNOE 8 News) - Officials are concerned about the public health of residents in Mayflower due to the oil spill that occurred in March.

Dustin McDaniel, the state Attorney General, said that residents in the town have expressed concerns about their health and their children's health.

He said many residents continue to suffer from headaches and nausea after ExxonMobil's Pegasus Pipeline ruptured.

No one was injured in the spill, but the rupture led authorities to evacuate more than 20 homes.
