MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - It all started on Jackson Street in Monroe over the weekend. That's where Ouachita Parish inmate Ronald Lassere, Junior, was working when he escaped from authorities.

Deputies say the 32-year-old then stole a truck from a Monroe home.
