CORINTH, Miss. (KNOE 8 News) - Defense lawyers for Paul Kevin Curtis say the federal government should release their client.

Investigators told the court Tuesday that searches of Paul Kevin Curtis' vehicle and house in Corinth, Mississippi have found no ricin.

Also a search of his computers found no evidence he researched making the poison.

Curtis has denied involvement in letters sent to President Obama, Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker, and a Lee County, Mississippi judge.

The preliminary hearing continues today.
