MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Ouachita Parish man is in jail, accused of threatening a worker at the Louisiana Attorney General's Office.

Deputies say 62-year-old James Kirby called the office in the capital city and told a state worker, he will blow her up.

The sheriff's office says the office was evacuated Friday afternoon to search for explosives. None were found inside or outside the building. He's being held at OCC and charged with terrorizing on a $20,000 bond.
