MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Four people are behind bars accused in an armed robbery in the parking lot of a restaurant on the 8300 block of Desiard Street.

Ouachita Parish deputies say 18-year-old William Smith and 18-year-old Leantwan Fobbs helped 18-year-old David Walker and 19-year-old Jamalcolm Griffin in an armed robbery.

Investigators believe Smith and Fobbs took the robbery victim, who's name is not being released, to a restaurant in Monroe with intentions of being partners in crime with Walker and Griffin.

Around 5:00 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of that restaurant, Walker and Griffin pulled out handguns in front of the victim, Smith and Fobbs, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies say the victim along with Smith and Fobbs gave up their cash.

Investigators say the victim was also beaten up in the parking.

Walker, Griffin, Fobbs and Smith have been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center for Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to commit Armed Robbery. The victim received medical treatment for head injuries and was released.
