Police investigate shots fired at house & car

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2900 block of Lee Ave at approximately 11:15 pm Monday.

Upon officers arrival, it was determined there were no injuries.  Witnesses at the scene stated that a white Nissan Maxima was driving North on Lee Avenue when gun shots were fired from the passenger window. 

One of the shots struck a home at this location and another shot was found to have struck a vehicle at the same location. 

No one was home or in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.  Evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is on going to ascertain the identities of the suspects.
