Man escapes from New Hampshire halfway house

Posted: Updated:

MANCHESTER, NH. (KNOE 8 News) - The man who took hostages at one of Hillary Clinton's campaign offices has disappeared.

Leeland Eisenberg apparently left a halfway house in Manchester, New Hampshire, without telling anybody.  He is required to do so.

Eisenberg strapped road flares to his chest in 2007, claiming it was a bomb and holding hostages at a campaign office.

He was eligible for parole in August, but he could be in trouble again, since leaving the halfway house is considered an escape.

Eisenberg is not considered dangerous.
