BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Police in Brunswick, Ga., are looking for two young boys who shot to death a 1-year-old while his mother was pushing his stroller. Sherry West tells a local TV station that the two boys, no older than 15, walked up to her Thursday morning and demanded money. West says when she told them she didn't have any, one boy shot her in the leg and her baby in the head as she tried to cover the child.

JERUSALEM - President Barack Obama has wrapped up his three-day visit to Israel. Today, Obama laid wreaths at the graves of Theodor Herzl the founder of modern Zionism, and former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated in 1995. WASHINGTON - The Democratic-controlled Senate is bracing for a marathon session today as lawmakers get ready to take dozens of votes on a 2014 budget. The nonbinding but politically symbolic measure would protect safety-net programs for the poor and popular domestic priorities like education and health research. House Republicans adopted a far more austere plan Thursday morning.

LONDON (AP) - It may take some cold, hard cash for some people to visit Britain in the future. British deputy leader Nick Clegg says his government is studying the idea of an immigration insurance plan that would require visitors from places around the world that are considered high risk to put up a cash deposit. The bond would be repaid only upon departure. Visitors would lose their deposit if they overstay their visas.
