MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The body of Chief Warrant Officer Bryan Henderson, who was killed last week in Afghanistan, will be arriving Thursday in Monroe.
His arrival at the airport will be a private family time, but from the airport the soldier's body will be transported along Kansas Lane near the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum, as he's moved to Winnsboro.
Along Kansas Lane locals will be able to stand with flags beginning about 11am, to show their respect to the soldier as he's taken back to Winnsboro.
On Friday, the service will be held at the Temple Baptist Church at 2pm. After the service, the Sheriff's Department will shut down Front Street to allow people to line the street to say their goodbyes to CWO Henderson as the casket is taken to Beouf Prairie Cemetery at Fort Necessity, Louisiana, for burial.
