Burglary investigation results in arrest in Monroe

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Jarell Robinson of the Monroe area charged with aggravated burglary.
The police investigation indicated that Robinson, whose address is listed as 1020 Nth 7th Street, apparently broke a window and entered the residence where he allegedly battered a female inside the location by choking and striking her with his hands. Robinson and the woman have a child together.
Robinson does not live at the above location and reportedly the female victim had refused to allow entry to him prior to the attack.
