MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe police say a 2-year-old was walking down the middle of Jackson street by himself.
They removed the child from the street, then conducted a search of the neighborhood to find the toddler's family. That investigation led to the arrest of Kimberly Ross of Monroe, who is the child's mother.
She was ultimately booked on charges of cruelty to a juvenile.
