MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The vote on Biomedical Research Foundation, of Northwest Louisiana, becoming the possible management of the LSU Hospital System has been postponed.
This management change would effect Northeast Louisiana's only public hospital, EA Conway. Senator Francis Thompson says the vote was postponed to give everyone time to review the proposal. Thompson says they wanted to prevent it from being rushed through. After budget cuts, LSU Hospitals are trying to find management to take over. The vote will be next week.
