Slots still available for tournament

MONROE, LA. (KNOE 8 NEWS) - Openings are still available for ULM Wesley Foundation 1st Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. ULM Wesley Foundation will hold its 1st Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Southern Pines Golf Club, Pine Hills at 395 Britton Road, Calhoun, LA, on Saturday, April 6, 2013 with tee time at 1:00 PM.

This organization is committed to investing in a new generation of Christ followers at ULM, who are devoted to the Kingdom, engaging the world, and seeking the will of God. ULM Wesley is building disciples who pursue peace, seek justice, and offer grace. The resources needed for this relevant ministry of ULM Wesley Foundation, number greatly beyond what they can come up with on their own. The group will be holding two fundraisers this year to help supplement the financial needs of ULM Wesley Foundation. The first one will be the 1st Annual Golf Tournament. 

Participation in the tournament will cost $100.00 for an individual and a team of four will be $400.00. Lunch, Cart, and Green Fees are included. The first 22 teams to register will play. Format will be Shotgun Start at 1:00 PM, 4 person Teams Scramble play, and Teams flighted after play. Awards will go to the Longest Drive, Flight Prizes, and Closest to the Pin.

 Sponsorships are requested to help with the fundraising. Support levels include Title Sponsor - $2,500.00 and Title benefits include recognition on all printed materials, television, radio, event banner at clubhouse, one team of four, and a hole -sponsor sign. Gold Sponsor - $1,000.00 and event banner at clubhouse, one team of four, hole-sponser sign. Silver Sponsor - $750.00 – one team of four - hole sponsor sign. Hole Sponsor $100.00 – hole sponsor sign. Wesley Sponsor any donation.  

Dustin Ratcliff, public relations at Wesley Foundation states "All golfers and sponsors should really enjoy this tournament. Through their participation they are partnering with ULM Wesley Foundation as they reach their goals of helping students to mature spiritually, grow in community, and reach out in service."
