MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - At approximately 4:00 AM Monday morning, Monroe Police responded to a vehicle burglary in progress at 5003 Conrad Street.
Officers observed a vehicle leaving the area and when a traffic stop was attempted the vehicle fled east on Richwood Road #1. A short vehicle pursuit ended in Parkview Apartments where two suspects fled on foot.
Currently, a search is in progress for the suspects. Stolen items were found in the suspect's vehicle.
