MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Shots were fired in one part of Monroe and as of Saturday, police are looking for the person who pulled the trigger. Police say Friday night, on the 2900 Block of Desoto Street they were sent to break up a large fight.
Investigators believe many of the people involved were under the age of 18. While breaking up the crowd, police say, someone opened fire. No one suffered any bullet wounds, according to police. However, investigators say one person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a chair.
