CAMERON, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Three people have been killed in a helicopter crash in a remote area of southwestern Louisiana.
Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson said the crash was reported at 11:45 a.m. Friday. A pilot and two passengers were aboard the helicopter. All three died.
Johnson said the helicopter was owned by Era Helicopters LLC.
Johnson said the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash, which occurred southeast of the Lake Charles airport.
