TALLULAH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Madison Parish Judge is giving the City of Tallulah and Madison Parish a few more days to resolve their differences. The two government bodies are involved in a lawsuit over the location of the new parish health unit.
Initially, the judge gave 15 days for both groups to solve the disagreement out of court. That deadline has been extended because Mayor Eddie Beckwith is out of town. The two groups will meet on Monday in a private meeting at 6 p.m.
