More arrests announced in Ouachita Parish home invasion

OUACHITA PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The  3 additional arrests stem from a home invasion which occurred on Friday, March 8th. There had already been one arrest, Dequonta Jefferson, in the case, on Wednesday the 13th. He is currently being held on charges of armed robbery and battery and is being held on a $185,000 bond.

All four of those arrested are being charged with armed robbery.

The arrests announced a short while ago include 18-year-old Salarrious Jones, 18-year-old Dequincy Jones, and 17-year-old Deonta Drew. Each is facing three counts of armed robbery and they each are being held on $150,000 bond.

During the arrests, police say they large amount of stolen items.

The home invasion took place in the 100 block of Raymond Drive in Ouachita parish.

The perpetrators allegedly held some teens in the house at gunpoint, then reportedly walked away with electronics, cash and a gun.
