City announces temporary Catalpa St. closing

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Officials are closing part of Catalpa Street temporarily.

According to the Mayor's office Catalpa St., between Wood and Oak streets, will be closed Thursday, March 14th from about 8am until the work is finished. It's likely this means the street will be closed for most of the day.

The closing is to allow crane service to place materials on top of the St. Francis Hospital.
