FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNOE 8 News) - An Arkansas woman is being held a hero after she reported to cops a mother is making an attempt to sell her two children.
22-year-old Misty VanHorn is from Oklahoma.
Police say she made an offer to sell her 2-year-old for $1,000. She also has a 10-month-old baby.
Police say another offer she made, was for both children with a $4,000 price tag.
According to police, VanHorn needed the money to bail her boyfriend out of jail. She's being held on $40,000 bond.
