Two men accused of domestic abuse

FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Union Parish man is accused of dragging his wife down the road with his vehicle.

28-year-old Jason Perdue, from Downsville, is facing a domestic abuse battery charge.

Deputies say the victim was scratched and bruised after a fight on Thursday.

Investigators say the argument stemmed from illegal drugs while traveling on State Highway 145.

According to deputies, the victim said she managed to get out of the car, but Perdue slammed the door on her wrist and began to drive the vehicle.

He's being held on a $10,000 bond.

Also in Union Parish, a Farmerville man faces a domestic abuse battery with child endangerment charge.

Deputies say 30-year-old Stephen Hodge was hitting a woman ,repeatedly, in the face. The sheriff's office says that's even while she was holding her 8-month-old-daughter.

Hodge has a $2,500 bond.
