Man arrested in Monroe now facing additional charges

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Larry Brown was originally arrested on March 2nd on charges of vehicular burglary. Now, Monroe Police are adding to the count.
Brown has now additionally been charged with five more burglary warrants and one stolen vehicle warrant.
Detectives conducted follow up investigations which included interviewing tipsters and executing a search warrant at a residence which led to the recovery of stolen items and other evidence, such as clothing, that implicated Brown in the above offenses.
The burglary warrants stemmed from offenses at local car dealerships. Detectives have also forwarded six additional burglary cases to the District Attorney's office where Brown is a suspect and charges are pending. The cases charging Brown with burglary all occurred in the Eastern patrol zones of Monroe.

Monroe, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Police arrested Thomas Wroten this afternoon following a domestic dispute. At 9:15pm last night Monroe Police received an emergent call for help in the 5300 block of Blanks.
