MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Royce Toney apparently has filed a complaint with District Attorney Jerry Jones against Federal Prosecutor Minion Griffing and Federal Investigator Bill Chesser.
Part of that complaint includes a sworn affidavit about an alleged phone call from Griffing to Toney's attorney, Michael Stroud, in which, according to Toney, Griffing appears to have threatened the former sheriff. ( Read here: Affidavit of Ansel Martin Stroud )
Among the possible violations are a felony count of public intimidation and retaliation as well as a felony count of conspiracy to commit public intimidation and retaliation.
