LEESVILLE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for a man they say is responsible for nearly 50 robberies that span five states.
They say Roy G. Ramsey has stolen almost $300,000 dollars from Walmart stores. Most recently he robbed the Walmart store in Leesville, Louisiana. They say he waits until registers are unattended, pries them open, and then walks away with the cash. Police say his blatant behavior during the robberies amazes them.
Police say they don't know if Ramsey is working alone. They are offering a cash reward to anyone who has sufficient information that leads to his arrest.
