WEST MONROE, la. (KNOE 8 News) - A West Monroe woman is charged with dealing marijuana, ecstacy and amphetamines out of her home.
Police identified suspect Yen Nhi Ngo(AKA: Lisa Ngo) following an anonymous tip. During the course of an investigation drugs along with $10,000. cash was seized from her home. Police say during the course of the investigation Ngo attempted to bribe officials.
A warrant was issued for Ngo's arrest, but she termed herself into police Thursday afternoon. She was booked in the West Monroe Correctional Center and faces the following charges:
•Distribution of Marijuana, RS 40:966 •Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, RS 40:979 •Possession of Sch I (Ecstasy), RS 40:966; •Possession of Sch II (Amphetamine), RS 40:967; •Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, RS 40:1023 •Public Bribery, RS 14:118
Ngo, was transferred to the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center where she is currently being held on $110,750.00 bond.
