Son assaults dad with birthday cookie cake, arrested

BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Bossier Parish man is facing charges after deputies say he hit his father with a cookie cake.
Authorities say 44 year old Kenneth Fulmer got into an argument with a neighbor over a dog on Monday. Fulmer then went out for drinks to celebrate his birthday and returned home drunk.
He got into an argument with his 77-year-old father and attacked him with a cookie cake bought for his birthday.
Fulmer was booked on charges of simple battery of the infirmed and disturbing the peace.
