Duck Dynasty crew returns home

Posted: Updated:

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - "It's great, we've been gone for three weeks. When I left, it was cold a rainy and I come back and it's sunny and the weather looks pretty nice outside." Said Willie Robertson.

After making appearances at the Daytona 500 and most recently the Jimmy Kimmel show the guys reflect on their experience.

"Jimmy's great. Super nice guy. I talked to him a good while before and everybody was super excited about us being there and that's a fun show. They have some creative people there and we did a little skit and I may have a new business idea with the carrot call." Said Willie.

The carrot call, in response to singer Steven Morrissey, canceling his appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show last night, saying his beliefs as an animal rights activist collide with those of the duck dynasty crew.

"it didn't really bother me, you know. I would've been more upset had at been Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan. Somebody I actually knew, then I would've been upset but I don't know who he is and I guess he has his stance and I told them when I get back in Louisiana I'll be in more friendly confines for sure." Said Willie

Phil offered his two cents as well.

"Here's the deal. The duck men, we're not getting off the duck gumbo. That's all I have to say about the matter." Said Phil Robertson.

What can we expect to see on tonight's show?

"I think I'm doing yoga tonight. I think that's the episode that's coming out tonight. I'm trying to get back in shape and as you can see it hasn't worked too well. We got that and then the opening day of duck season. That's a big deal for us. So I think that's the other one that's coming on tonight and yeah, we're looking forward to it. We're all going to get together and watch it." Said Willie.

Last season, Jase had a run in with neighbors and the home owner's association from burning leaves in his driveway. So we asked if there are any new problems from them this season.

"We had a little beavers problem in the neighborhood and guess who they call...ole jase...yeah I'm your friend now when you got a beaver problem." Said Jase Robertson.

Cammo on and duck calls ready, Duck Dynasty continues tonight on A&E at 9 p.m.
