MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - Teaming up with two dental clinics, the city plans a health giveaway.
This coming weekend, during the 2013 Black Heritage Parade, the city of Monroe Parks and Recreation folks, along with Reddix Dental Clinic of Monroe and Pediatric Dentistry of Vicksburg, will have some free stuff for parade goers.
Representatives will be giving away free toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and etc. along the 2013 Black Heritage Parade route. The 2013 theme is "Get a Gold Medal Smile".
This year's Black Heritage Parade is scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, February 23.
