MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - One man is in jail accused of starting a fight in a bar and getting into a physical altercation with officers.
Monroe police say it all started inside Hook in Bull bar in Downtown Monroe. Officers say 25-year-old Stephen Riley was escorted outside by bouncers.
According to the police report, officers placed Riley under arrest but he continued fighting with law enforcement. The report states one officer was kicked in the chest by Riley and he continued kicking toward their faces. Police said he even tried to kick out a window.
He's facing multiple charges and is being held on a $22,900 bond.
