MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - For those of you building or remodeling homes, the Home Expo is back this weekend. The big event allows builders and designers to show off the latest in home re-modeling and construction technology. Everything from shower installations to roofing to bug control in your yard, the expo has it all. It also helps local and smaller businesses sell some of their products. One business owner says this is his seventh year at the expo.
"The Homebuilders Association of Northeast Louisiana gives us this opportunity to do it, it's the only home show in the area that I know of. Every year it's a really successful show for us and I hope the public enjoys it as well," Butch Sceen said.
The home expo will open back up Sunday from 11 in the morning until 5 in the evening at the Monroe Civic Center.
