WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A driver is resting on dry ground after a scary situation in a Ouachita Parish lake. Louisiana State Police say a car partially submerged in Cheniere Lake Saturday morning. Troopers say the driver was heading along Highway 3033 and she drove off the road. The woman then hit a tree, followed by her vehicle partially ending up in the lake. Troopers say there were no serious injuries involved from the crash.
