MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A drug bust results in one arrest in the 500 Block of Roselawn Avenue of Monroe around 5:00 P.M.
Police say the suspect was allegedly selling and making meth inside an apartment. Police say Donovan Delaney is being booked at the Ouachita Correctional Center. He's being charged with the operation of a meth lab.
Sgt. MarK Johnson says this arrest was the result of a Crimestopppers tip about someone selling meth.
One neighbor says this is not the first time they've had problems coming from that apartment.
"The night before Christmas, we had a lady knock on our door that somebody was trying to kill her and she wanted us to let her in our home," the neighbor said. "But we didn't allow that, we told her to call the cops."
