CALDWELL PARISH, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A Caldwell Parish man is behind bars accused of abusing a 7 week old baby.
25-year-old Daniel Crum has been booked on 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile charges.
Deputies say at the end of last month, they received a complaint from Saint Francis Medical Center about a child who they said had suspicious injuries.
The sheriff's office says after weeks of investigating, Crum admitted to slamming the baby down on a foot rest of a recliner.
