MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The University of Louisiana at Monroe Office of Career Connections and Experiential Education invites all ULM freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors and alumni to attend the ULM 2013 All Majors Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 20. The fair, which will operate from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m, will take place on the second floor ballroom of the Student Union Building.
Local and regional employers seeking to fill internships and full-time job positions will be present. These employers can be found online at: www.ulm.edu/careerconnections/events/spring-all-majors-career-fair-2. Students may also register for the event at that site. The first 50 students to register will receive a free Career Connections t-shirt, and all students who register will be eligible to receive a free iPad.
The day before the All Majors Career Fair, representatives from several of these companies will share their insights at Pre-Career Fair Workshops. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, students are invited to attend "How to Work a Career Fair" from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. and "Lunch with Professionals" from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Both events will be held in the second floor ballroom of the Student Union Building. Registration for these workshops is available online at www.ulm.edu/careerconnections
Professional dress and student ID are required to attend all events – blue jeans and denim will not be permitted.
