Sesame crusted tuna filet with spicy peanut slaw

Sesame crusted tuna filet with spicy peanut slaw.

Tuna
Tuna filet 8ozw
Sesame seeds(black &white) 1ozw
Olive oil 1ozv
Salt & pepper (to taste)


Slaw
Napa Cabbage 1C
Green onion (chopped) 2ea
Carrot (peeled and cut in thin strips) 1/2 ea
Garlic clove (minced) 1/2 ea
Red bell pepper (seeded and cut in strips) 1/4 ea
Cilantro (chopped) 1tsp
Peanuts (coarsely chopped) 2T
Sesame oil 2T
Rice wine vinegar 1T
Salt &pepper to taste

Preparation
Rub tuna filet with 1/2of olive oil
Season with salt and pepper and coat generously with black and white sesame seeds
In a sauce pan with other 1/2 of olive oil pan sear tuna filet over med-high heat to desired doneness
Remove from heat and let rest.
For slaw mix all ingredients together, refrigerate and serve with pan seared tuna.
Note: Napa cabbage needs to be sliced thinly like Cole slaw. Enjoy!
