CONCORDIA PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The body of a western Mississippi man has been recovered from a bayou.
Search and rescue teams say the body of Shaw man was found in Cocodire Bayou. That's in Concordia Parish.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division say they pulled the body of 84-year-old Louis Fisher from the bayou at 9:45 a.m. Friday.
The search began Thursday for Fisher.
Rescue teams were told a fisherman who apparently had fallen overboard into the bayou. Relatives say Fisher had been running trot lines in the area.
State wildlife agents say the cause of death is under investigation.
