ARKADELPHIA, Ar., (KNOE 8 News) - Prosecutors say they're still considering seeking the death penalty for a 19-year-old man charged with killing two girls and their stepfather in Arkadelphia.
Rialkos Lizana appeared in Clark County Circuit Court Friday where his attorney acknowledged he has received evidence in the case. Lizana did not speak during the hearing.
Lizana is charged with three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated residential burglary in the Dec. 6 deaths of 40-year-old Bobby Jean Galbraith, 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield and 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield. A 6-month-old girl in the family's home was found uninjured.
Lizana has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor Blake Batson said after the hearing that he can't comment on a suspected motive - but said he has not waived the death penalty.
