Monroe railroad crossing closed today (Friday)

MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - City of Monroe Traffic Engineering has been notified of the following by Union Pacific Railroad.

The railroad crossing, Richwood Road #1 at Riverbend has been closed for maintenance:

The suggested detour/alternate Route is Richwood Road#2 and Buckhorn Bend

The crews are performing maintenance and making some necessary repairs.

They expect to be done and reopen the crossing by about 5pm today. (Feb 8th)
