Feb. 7: Downtown Gallery Crawl, 5-9 pm. Nine art galleries in downtown Monroe and West Monroe are open to the public.

Feb. 8: Annual ULM Child Development Trike-A-Thon Parade for St. Jude Children's Research

WHERE: ULM Child Development Center, located at 702 Cole Avenue, near the ULM campus

Feb. 9: Whirling Wonders Tinkering Program, 1-3 pm build your own electrical circuits with a hobby motor and other items, such as clothespins and aluminum foil. Participants will be able to take their creations home.

Feb. 9: 12th Annual Vicksburg Mardi Gras Parade, 4 pm

Feb. 9: Monroe Symphony Orchestra presents "A John Williams Spectacular," performing his scores from such films as Harry Potter, Star Wars, E.T., Jaws, and many more! 7 pm
