WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Some famous faces from the twin cities were honored Sunday night at the Super Bowl. Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty and Troy Landry from Swamp People were the media ambassadors for Sunday night's Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Willie says it was an honor for Louisiana to pick them to represent the state. He says they had a lot of fun, watching the game and meeting so many fans. He was there for the power outage too and says the whole thing confused them too.
"I was standing there in line to get a drink and there was a friend there who sat behind us and he said what did Si do? I said what are you talking about? He said the lights are out, I looked up and the lights didn't look like they were out to me, I saw it later on TV and it looked darker than it looked in there," said Robertson.
