FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Farmerville woman is facing a simple burglary charge after an ongoing investigation.
The Union Parish Sheriff's Office says the accused thief even tried to get a job them.
Deputies say 18-year-old Laken Smith was taken to jail over the weekend. Laken is accused of breaking into a mobile home and stealing about $200 in coins.
Laken is charged with simple burglary and issued a $4,600 bond.
