RUSTON, LA. (KNOE 8 News) - The City of Ruston Department of Economic Development confirmed to KNOE 8 News that ground will be broken next week for a new Whataburger fast food restaurant.
The restaurant will be built on the north service road of Interstate 20 between mile markers 85 and 86.
Economic Development leaders told KNOE 8 News that the restaurant attained all essential permits. They also said all pre-construction meetings have been held and all plans have been approved.
At this time, it could not be confirmed how long it will take before the restaurant is built.
