JACKSON, Ms., (KNOE 8 News) - The owner of Cline Tour Bus says a company bus did not crash on Interstate 55 in Jackson but was bumped by another vehicle.
Cline Tour owner John McCommon tells The Associated Press that the bus was carrying students from one campus of St. Andrews school to another campus when the accident occurred Wednesday morning.
McCommon says the bus driver slowed down because she was approaching an accident and a vehicle in the other lane skidded into the bus. McCommon says the other vehicle left the scene.
He says the accident was classified as a hit and run on a Jackson police report.
McCommon says the bus had only slight damage and continued with the students to St. Andrews, where officials say two were treated for bumps on their arms.
