MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - In the next few days, Hanson will have meetings with the executive staff and members of the faculty.
She also will visit each of Delta's eight campuses over the next few weeks so she can get a better feel for the culture of Delta and the communities it serves.
Hanson was formerly the vice president for learning at San Jacinto College-Central Campus in Pasadena, Texas. She was chosen for the chancellor position at Delta on Jan. 4 during a special meeting of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors.
