MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - A representative of the National Transportation Safety Board met with members of the media in Monroe Monday morning.
NTSB air safety investigator Stuart Bothwell is in Monroe investigating last week's fatal air crash.
Bothwell is the lead investigator in the crash.
At the briefing, he said when the aircraft crashed, it created a debris field an estimate an acre wide, with the majority of the Beechcraft Bonanza in a hole some 8 feet deep.
